Upon application, IBS usually supports selected projects in non-commercial basic research in molecular biology and related fields with funding contributions for three years, whereby projects pursued in international collaboration are being favored.
Every three years, IBS makes a project call in cooperation with the Department of Molecular Biology (DBM) of the Université libre de Bruxelles (ULB). Submitted research projects are being reviewed and recommended by an ad hoc expert committee.
Applications received outside of any project call will not be considered.
Applications consist of a project description of no more than two pages and a complete project budget.
