IBF is an independent charitable and tax exempt foundation pursuant to the Swiss Civil Code with office in Zurich, Switzerland. It is supervised by the Federal Department of Home Affairs FDHA.
Since 1992, IBF has supported and promoted fundamental non commercial research and formation of research talents in molecular biology and related fields. IBF pursues its activities in Switzerland and internationally by supporting selected research projects and promoting selected formation programs and seminars.
